Because besides the Royals and the Devil Rays until this year, they've been one of the worst teams in baseball this decade.

over 4% more got the redsox over the reds when you have to type in r-e-d-s to get the redsox.?!?

i would assume most people typed "red sox" seeing as that is how the name is spelled

I am just concentrating on the NL for now and I can't even get all those in 5 minutes. My bride is the real sports fan in the family. I'll see how well she does. Happy Quizzing. Jedidiah

@deuce: But, unless you type very quickly, as soon as you get to `red s', it says `thank you!' and fills in the Reds. Clearly, the 4% chumley mentions actually typed `Boston Rex Sox' in full, not realising that the city name is not required.

for the life of me i couldn't think of the marlins. Kept thinking "I THINK There's another florida team." Figures I got the devil rays and not the marlins. Also missed the Tigers which was another "Duh" moment, and blue jays which I"m not surprised. I'm a Cardinals Fan, and am mainly aware of the NL teams. Duh on Marlins and Tigers though.

@deuce and myself: Also, you can enter just `sox' to get the Red Sox and White Sox in one. So that's two ways of getting the Red Sox without geting the Reds.

It even gives you the Cincinnati Reds when you type "red s". It probably shouldn't.

@Jedidiah Plankmaker: if you like the comment, you can press the green arrow, which adds a point; if you dont like it, you press the red down arrow; and i have no idea what the x means.....maybe to delete it? also if that is your real last name, i think thats pretty great. and i got these all with 1:19 left!! baseballs pretty chill but getting some of the NL teams was hard for me....yankees all the wayyy (i know im gonna get - 27 for that comment ahha)

I would rather see the elapsed time than the time remaining. It would be nice if you could set that to your own preference. Just a thought.

Why are the Royals the least guessed in this quiz and the Chiefs are the least guessed in the football one? KC can't get any love, huh?
