	Bizarre how I know a lot of the older streaks, yet have almost no memory of the Rollins and Utley streaks...even when their names poppsed up I don't really remember them happening. Getting old before my time :(

	Hal Morris had a 32 game hitting streak in 1996/97. This streak should be included on the list.

	im amazed ted williams never had a long streak, especially hitting .407; some other guys that are a little surprising to be absent are gwynn and george brett.

	Thought Hugh Duffy should've made it, since I believe he hit .440 one year. Also, surprised Dimaggio didn't have multiple streaks, since he did have 56 and all... Guess it goes to show how hard it really is.

	almost everyone does...I bet you that almost none of the 88.4% who got Dom DiMaggio actually knew him. the small leftover who got Joe but not him are probably people just discovering Sporcle who don't know that quizzes accept last names.

	@jawa88: 19th century baseball players would include Guerrero (who's on the above list), but also current players like Rodriguez, Griffey and Jeter. And bentkangaroo is right: most baseball fans would know their baseball history. Also, Billy Hamilton had a 36-game hitting streak in 1894. I knew that going into this quiz, but it didn't appear, and it is also included in the provided source.

	I usually get near 100% on the baseball quizes, but this was really tough...7/28. I got Ken Landreaux though! Only because I'm a Twins fan...his was the longest in team history.

	Gene DeMontreville - 1896-1897 had a hitting streak of 36 games which would put him 10th on the list. This needs to be updated. From baseballreference.com : DeMontreville had a 36-game hitting streak from 1896 to 1897. The streak was over the last 17 games of 1896 and the first 19 games of 1897. This streak was not discovered until 2007; it ranks as the tenth-longest hitting streak in Major League Baseball history.
