Instead of ME bodies of water, why not the largest ones in the world, oceans, seas and lakes?

Good idea for a quiz - but would be better if it clarified which bodies of water we're supposed to name

I expected many more possibilities here...Dead Sea, Suez Canal, Sea of Marmara, Bosphorus River, Kinneret, Tigris, Euphrates...

I'm amazed how few people can name the Persian Gulf - what do they think the Gulf War was named after?

This quiz could be expanded by adding lakes, such as Lake Urmia. Also the Nile, Tigris, and Euphrates rivers. Dead sea. And 'maybe' the Suez Canal.

it is not clear what bodies of water have to be named...for example because of the spacing between 'Red Sea' and Mediterranean I tried other bodies of water such as the Gulf of Aqaba...

There is a line between the Gulf of Aden and the Gulf of Arabia, and between the Gulf of Arabia and the Gulf of Oman. But, there isn't a line between the Gulf of Oman and the Persian Gulf, nor a line between the Gulf of Aden and the Red Sea. I missed the gulf of Oman because I thought this was meant to be one body of water. Also the answer for PErsian Gulf obscures the Strait of Homuz further confusing that the Gulf of Oman is different. The graphic needs work.

hrmm most of these quizzes would have accepted "aden" for gulf of aden. but this particular one needs the full name grr for inconsistency

Persian gulf is the only name for it. No need to go dabbling with politics and a possible "Arabian" gulf...

strait of hormuz? I kept trying to enter it and it wasn't on the quiz. It seems to fit the category.

Strait of Hormuz??? I mean it's only so important that Iran and Iraq fought an 8 year over... But perhaps not important

So I type in Red, Mediterranean, Black, Caspian, & Arabian & get points, but yet it won't accept Oman or Persian??? I suppose I was being lazy, but if the quiz takes that type of response for some questions, it should take them for all of them...

Not well-organised, imo. Other recognised bodies of water, such as the Sea of Azov, the Strait of Hormuz and Shatt al-Arab are visible on the map but not included in the answers. Also, is there a reason that the Sea of Marmara isn't coloured blue?

Would be good if the things you're looking for are highlighted better - for instance I had no idea I was looking for the Gulf of Oman. (Aden was more obvious) Also, please accept shortened versions of the names - if someone puts in "Mediterranean" they clearly mean "Mediterranean sea" for instance. Also, accept Indian Ocean for Arabian Sea. Otherwise good :)

This quiz is confusing. There are four smaller bodies of water that are visible on the map but aren't answers.
