Yeah, both "Mexico" and "Estado de Mexico" should be valid options.

The Federal District is not the same as Mexico State. I think the FD is the little purple-colored area between Mexico State and Morelos. It is not part of any state, so it's not in this quiz (just like DC, which is not in the U.S. states quiz).

Mexico State = Estado (Libre y Soberano) de México, the capital: Toluca (de Lerdo); Mexico City = Ciudad de México = México, D.F. = Distrito Federal

"Estado de Mexico" should definitely count for "mexico state". I've never heard it stated like that.

really, "Mexico" should count. you don't have to add "state" or "estado" to any of the other state.

Good - though "Mexico State" is odd. Ideally, "Mexico," "Estado de Mexico" and even "Edomex" should count. And no love for the DF? It can be its own answer..

I entered Baja Norte like, 5 times before just typing Baja California, which is actually the name for the whole penninsula right? Should just be Baja Norte and Baja Sur, since thats how i always knew them as. And Mexico state? If you're going to have it in english, you might as well just have it as Mexico City, since that's more correct
