This is not comedy. It is pure genius. Mel Brooks owns life.

Andrew: There's a reason for that. He didn't direct it. Otherwise, I definitely would have included it.

this is really obscure, but wasn't he one of the villains in line during blazing saddles? i don't have the movie with me, otherwise i would check. either way, it is pretty irrelevant, as the characters listed are enough to get the answer. great quiz!

He may not have directed "To Be or Not to Be", but he was still the star, and it is one of my favorite movies. His bursting into an small town English pub in full Hitler garb is absolutely priceless.

Spaceballs still rules. I'm so into Rick Moranis as Dark Helmet that when the Darth Vader character is breathing on TV, I crackup laughing. "What's the matter Colonel Sanders....CHICKEN! "You Went Over My Helmet??"

Isn't The 12 Chairs acceptable? Also Pat: he absolutely was a villain in the baddie line-up in BS. (Biker that turns to camera I believe)

Hermes: It's not, but it absolutely should be. I'll see if I can get that fixed. Thanks!

Gah, I could barely remember the English titles since I know them all as "Springtime for XXX". Those titles really made his success in a way.

The Producers was pure comic genius, Blazing Saddles was painfully funny, Young Frankenstein was really hilarious, Spaceballs was a pleasent surprise (it was AWESOME, and I didn't expect that), and Dracula was great. What a director.
