Could "self esteem" count for "esteem"? Wikipedia says it's equivalent.

On an unrelated note, I wonder what milestone Sporcle will hit first: 2,000 quizzes posted, or 100,000,000 quizzes played. (The stats are on the front page if you want to check them.)

Can you let it accept Self-ActualiSation? I knew the answer and didn't get the point because I used the British spelling :-(

Not that it affects the answers, but since it is a hierarchy, shouldn't the top answer be the one that is at the top of the pyramid?

Lennon's hierarchy of needs:
All you need is love.
All you need is love.
All you need is love, love.
Love is all you need.

I adore Maslow; he's my favorite psychologist that I studied when I took Psychology of the Personality.

I used to have a textbook with this in it, with stick men by the side depicting the meaning. I was definitely only at the bottom rung, which was a stick man rubbing his belly saying "what a breakfast!"

I missed love, but got the rest. I kept typing "psychological needs". I guess I'm a decent management theorist, but a sucky date.

As a former debater in high school, i should have known more of these. But on the other hand, his ideas were so often twisted out of proportion that I never got them in the first place.

@btroup1...I had the same idea. When I learned these in high school it was presented in that manner.

if food counts for physiological, why doesn't sex count for love and belonging needs?

My psychology text lists "biological" rather than physiological and "attachment" rather than love, and I was very confused as to why they weren't accepted. Consider it? Also @bsd987 and @AntieAnnie, sex actually falls under physiological/biological rather than attachment.
