	It was supposed to be Tomlinson that year but he declined. Not that unusual though, Young was offensive Rookie of the Year. I don't think they expected him to fall off the map so quickly. Guess they should have paid more attention to the Madden Curse.

	i agree vandaley. I didnt know most of them befroehand but it was super easy when i saw the teams. Maybe put conference, division, or just no hint

	@titansfan123 um he played injured the second half of the year and ended up causing the jets to miss the playoffs. he then needed surgery. so if that isn't the madden curse then i really don't know what is

I know it's fashionable to belittle Young but he's a much better player than most people will admit. Coming off of his rookie season, in which he made spectacular play after spectacular play, his appearance on the cover didn't have too many jaws dropping at the time, did it? Look at how he's put the spark back into the Titans this year, and look at his masterful 99-yard game-winning drive against the Cardinals a couple of weeks ago. He's 6-1 as a starter this year and 24-12 over his career. He'll never be a QB who regularly posts 300 yard, 3 TD games (Jeff Fisher's QBs rarely do) but he does what he needs to do to lead his team to victory. It's his job to win games, not post pretty numbers.
