| @Booger: My personal opinion is that it would have been better to have the two Islands countries as bonuses. Although an island is an isle-land, the word reached English as `iland', from the Old Frisian ey + land. `Isle', on the other hand, is from the French. That is, `island' comes from something that means `isle-land' but it was not made by taking the words `isle' and `land' and sticking them together. |
