	all that got me through high school Spanish was "Como se dice en espanol la palabra _______?" Don't yell at me for accents/grammar and am going to try to relearn Spanish since it is the 2nd most used language in the US and I am jealous of everyone who is bilingual.

	I'm from Argentina, so this was a little too easy... =P @Chaim Mattis Keller: Actually, "niño" and "niña" would be "boy" and "girl" respectively. Here in Argentina, it would be "chico" and "chica".

	@chaim: niño and niña are boy and girl, not son and daughter. It should accept "mujer" for wife, because even of it means woman, it's also used for wife. At least here in Spain.

	mama and papa should count for mother and father. I had forgotten what niece and nephew were and never learned step parents. Good quiz.

	@John I disagree, mama and papa would be mom and dad. Father and mother are slightly more formal, just like padre and madre.

	@Zala- I actually thought this was most common Spanish last names and I started thinking of Garcia, Lopez, etc. Maybe the powers that be will make that sporcle quiz since we already had American last names.

	Luckily, I am tutoring Spanish and recently we did family members. Also, another interesting word fact: miercoles-Wednesday, pork-chops, and a mild curse. So, said my 8th grade teacher.

	"Mujer" should be acceptable for wife, sexist though it sounds ("Esta es mi mujer" ... "this is my woman?"). It IS used for "wife"

	I think that typing in nieto should also be accepted for nieta, because typing both genders when it differs by one letter is a pain and it takes off time. For something like madre and padre, both should have to be entered...but hermano/hermana? Come on!

	Mother is also mamá and father is also papá. The same with wife, that appart from esposa is also known as mujer.

	What a shame that no 'brother-in-law', 'father-in-law', 'mother-in-law', 'son-in-law', 'daughter-in-law' are available, being so nice (and independent, unlike English) words in Spanish.
