I think Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone should be accepted. That is kind of the official name of the book and film and is called that just about everywhere in the world apart from the USA. Good quiz, helps if you know your Spielberg films.

Heard of most of these films but only got 5 right. I only had 1 (Jaws for ages) then looked at 1993 and thought of Shindler's List and with about 20 seconds left looked at 1977 and thought of Star Wars (and managed to type in the two sequels in time).

I'm somewhat stunned he didn't even get a nom for Phantom Menace. Yes, the movie was atrocious, but the score was outstanding, and by far the best part of the film.

Good quiz. As for the Streep reference in the teaser...when's that quiz coming?

Foghorn: In her movies quiz the noms are highlighted... so there probably wont be a quiz just for them,

I adore John Williams. And felt extremely silly when two of the ones I missed are albums that I own...

The third column labeled "reason" is really bizarre. It should say "category" or something of the like.

It's amazing that the man has 45 Academy Award nominations and there are STILL so many that he deserved to be nominated for. Where are his scores for The Cowboys, Midway, Jurassic Park, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, The Fury, 1941, and so many others? Can't wait for his TinTin score.

As of this morning, you can go ahead and add "The Adventures of Tintin" and "War Horse". This brings his total to 47, breaking his tie with Alfred Newman. He'll still need 12 more to tie Walt Disney as the most nominated individual in Oscar history.
