"St." is acceptable for 2 answers, but I had to spell it out for "Saint Peter's." St. should be accepted there too.

I kept confusing Catholic schools like University of Portland for Jesuit schools. Got 8, most of them from living in the state (or going there in the case of Seattle) or following the West Coast Conference.

I typed Saint Joseph's with the apostrophe and without and it didn't show up. Do you have to type University, too?

Saint Joseph's doesn't work but St. Josephs does. Then it shows up as Saint Joseph's. Bah.

Thank you to all my fellow Former Jesuit Volunteers for going to these schools so I knew of their existence (and their Jesuit-ness). It is to you I owe my 25/28. Anyone know why Walsh Jesuit in Akron isn't on here?

i suggested sporcle make this quiz, and i could only get 22 out of 28! and i go to a jesuit school, guess i will have to do better. Also, a jesuit high school quiz would be almost impossible, there are well over 60 of them

So it does pay to go to a Jesuit school where every building on campus is named after a school.

The entire word "Saint" is required for Saint Peter's College, because the College does not abbreviate the word in its name (page one of our stylebook).

I did not know where St. Peter's College is until I read on Wikipedia that it is located in Jersey City, New Jersey. More interestingly, I also read that its college mascot is the Peacock (the women's sports teams are called the Peahens). I am trying to visualize what the human form of a Peacot/Peahen would look like, or do you just let the bird strut at the sporting events?

I always called it University of Santa Clara (which nicely confuses it with 3 other USC's in Southern California, Colorado & Connecticut), but only "Santa Clara University" would work.

Good to see the ole alma matter (Fairfield) appear in a quiz! Going through the MAAC and WCC and the buildings on campus definitely helped with this one.

Interesting... I typed Saint Joseph's, and it didn't take it, so I switched to St Joseph's, and it took it, and displayed it as Saint Joseph's... Then, it wouldn't take St Peter's, but liked Saint Peter's...

At SLU (Saint Louis University, St Louis MO), the parking lots are named for the other Jesuit schools. That's how I got Seattle.
