@ Robert: I think the key is that the instructions say top of the R&B charts, so that wouldn't necessarily coincide with the Billboard main top 100 category.

anyone want to play the 'where were you when you found out' game? I personally was at work and my sister texted me and was like 'guess who died' i wrote 'farrah fawcett' then she said Michael died too and I almost started crying. Crazy.

I got 11 out of 13. Was very surprised that "Say, Say, Say" wasn't on the list. "Black or White" was huge, but I guess more of a pop hit than R&B. I never even heard of "In The Closet".

Got all 13, surprised "Another part of me" hit #1 on the RB charts in 1988, it was actually written in 1986 as part of the Captain E.O. show.
