Yeah... not the best songs. How sad. Also, the 22nd-most downloaded song on iTunes is by Katy Perry, not Kate.

I'm so, so very glad I did horribly on this quiz- I do not need to know this music, and I'm glad I don't. One of the Chris Brown songs is A SONG WRITTEN TO PROMOTE CHEWING GUM, for god's sake! Hell, even the one truly good artist on the lists- Lil Wayne- is there for one of his crappiest songs.

Actually, I forgot M.I.A.- spectacular musician, and that's actually a great track (though it's no "Galang"). Still, two out of ~30 is not a good percentage as far as quality is concerned.

I got one (on both lists), I Kissed a Girl, although, I have no idea what it sounds like. That was the only song here that I've heard of. I suppose that's a good thing.

i obviously haven't listened to popular music in awhile. got so desperate i started naming songs by these artists from years ago. "hmm...maybe 'rubberband man' came out in 2008..."

These lists just show that the genres of music represented here are more conducive to the singles market and the types of people who listen to them. The albums market caters to a very different audience, and i'm sure those lists wouldn't feature a lot of these artists.

While I only got 2 of the songs, I agree with scaryice...disliking popular music doesn't automatically make you cool. I know this because I dislike popular music and am, in fact, rather mediocre.

I mean, I kind of dig that Sara Bareilles song. Go ahead, click the negative point button....but most people probably like that song at the same time that they are criticizing it.

Flobots song is a good one... most of this stuff isn't intended to be what music snobs want... mindless pop has its place in the world like every other type of music... never understood the consumate need to bash stuff that "other" people like.

haha wow...before reading the comments I was like, ugh not these songs again! I'm so sick of hearing them on the radio over and over and over again. I mean, great respect to people who want to sing and get their career going, but this is definitely not the right combination of music for me. Some of these artists have great voices like Alicia Keys and some others but, many of them are portrayed in such an...idk...LOOK-AT-ME-I'M-EVERYWHERE sort of way...haha

These songs scuck. And I like popular music. The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Police, Blondie, even hip hop. There is a reason som pop music is timeless and some (like the songs on this list) will be forgotten next year, not to mention in 20 years. Mindless crap, not because it is 'pop' but because it is just crap.

11/50. Better than I thought that I would do. I hate to admit that I actually like iTunes' fourth 20th, and 22nd most popular. Amazon's number twelve actually is really good; not all people from American Idol suck.

Im tired on everyone hating on this decades music. I bet if you listened to all of these songs, youd realize a good percentage of them arent mindless crap. Many of you are just using one or two of these artists as a way to judge all current music.

Librería: I don't think I am cool when I hate this music. I just hate it. Most of this pile of crap is downloaded by junior highs anyway.
