| Italian does not generally capitalize the names of months. The days of the week don't require capitalization either. The same is true for French. Sporcle, you really should list them in lower-case. Taught French and Italian for 40 years... and I always took points off for capitalizing months or days. Each language dictates its own rules about capitalization. German, for example, capitalizes nouns. English capitalizes months and days while most Romance languages do not. |
