Very tough game, nice and challenging. How come people rate games low because THEY are ignorant of the subject? Their bad score doesn't make the game bad!

Challenging. If you're American, makes you pay attention to war coverage.

Fatfifer, I think Kurdistan is a general area where Kurds live in northern Iraq, as well as northern Iran and eastern Turkey. It's not an official political territory, though they would like their own country. I welcome any corrections but I don't think this game gets the traffic...

I got Baghdad, Anbar, and Basra, I should have gotten Kirkuk and Diyala, they're the ones that are allways on the news.

I only got Baghdad right. I tried Euphrates, Tigris, Tikrit and Nineveh but they don't exist

Well, jcdizon, half right. The first two are rivers, the third is a town (Saddam's home town) but not a province, the fourth was a city in biblical times.

Jcdizon: The name of the province Ninawa comes from Nineveh, however. Also, Babil comes from Babylon.

I got all but 2 : dahuk and al sulaymaniah, due to spelling differences!

Why is it that typing, for example, "al muthanna" doesn't register as correct but "almuthanna" does?

I personally think this one is kind of ridiculous. I have always spelled "Basrah" like "Bosra," and even my friends FROM "As-sulaymaniyah" didn't spell it remotely like that. But, I don't know how you can get around this...
