Very tough. This quiz confirms "Lanford" Illinois on Roseanne is definitely fictional. I'm an idiot.

Being from Wisconsin, all I can say is...go home, flatlanders!!! Just kidding. But hey maybe eventually we can get a Wisconsin one? There's other bigger, more populous ones I know, but I would hope there'd be one for my state before, say, West Virginia or something.

I can't believe that my hometown (Bolingbrook) is now up to 70,000. That's probably twice as many people as when I was a kid.

being from IL and growing up in #3, im surprised none of the quad cities were there. only missed #18. @jd1z, chicago suburbs and college towns still wont get you #3, #6, or #11

Utterly shocked no Effingham. Seems like a decent sized city when we stop there on the way to Chicago.

Effingham is basically a huge interstate crossroads, but the city isn't that big once you get past the 57/70 intersection. Only 6 of the 20 aren't in Chicagoland (though Rockford is almost a suburb now).

@Hope: Let me look... No, Tennessee is not. There are a few states in the queue right now. I don't think Booger would be pleased if I told people what was coming, though.

@Skydog: Is there a Wrigley Field in Peoria? What about a Field Museum? Lake Michigan? Sears Tower? Don't think any of those you can see in Peoria. Hey... small cities CAN have these type of landmarks, like the Saturn V and US Space & Rocket Center, and Space Camp in Huntsville, AL. Looking up Peoria landmarks and it has the Pettengill Morron House

Not really. I went through the Illinois album in my head and came up with a handful of places, none of which were represented. Metropolis, Highland, Jacksonville, Pullman, Rock River Valley Region, The Palisades. All it gives you like Chicago and Decatur--two that I got anyway. :p

illinois is funny. one of the towns neighboring joliet is romeoville. and when i moved to naperville in 95, it wasn't nearly as big. those suburbs are really crawling into the cornfields.
