Slughorn was Potionsmaster in Book 7 as well...not that it matters, but being studiously accurate with everything else about this quiz, it might as well be there.

i would have expected Dumbledore to be the most remembered. Does Snape have more pop culture cred than I realized?

How about professor Vector of Arithmancy as well? Charity Burbage of Muggle Studies and then Alecto Carrow after that...

@thefinestmuffins: Snape has a creepily fanatic following. Google "snape wives" if you're feeling brave.

(sorry for the overkill in advance) Kettleburn is Care of Magical Creatures before 3, in addition to vector, burbage, and sinistra mentioned above.

@Tilly: It wasn't technically Defense Against the Dark Art in DH. It basically just became "Dark Arts" and was taught by Amycus Carrow. (The male of the two Carrows.) @The Quiz - easy, needs more stuff added. Binns (as everyone is saying) and others as well. (Personally, I think we should get the FUTURE Herbology teacher on there as well. Fool in Charge/Commander/Neville Longbottom ftw!)

I'm another one who can't spell McGonagall! Tried Mac... and double n and single l etc .... Agree that some of the other characters should be added to make it more tricky - Sinistra, Babbage, Vector. What did the 'other' Carrow teach in Book 7??

@ConorONeill: Harry is head of the Auror office and JK Rowling said that once and a while he makes appearances in the DADA classes.

What about Burbage? Sinistra? Vector? Babble? Kettleburn? The Founders? Headmaster Dippett? At least this one included Firenze and Pince. I was sooooo dissapointed not to see them in the %&&$%#%&^*^@$# films.

okay, i typed in albus dumbledore and it didnt accept it! thats just messed up... also, i typed in "madam pince" and "madame pomfrey", but they werent accepted either! they should be though... and what happened to sinstra, burbage, vector, alecto carrow, and babbling?! and ConorONeill, i dont think kettleburn is really necessary, but maybe as a bonus, that would be cool

agreed with all of the above...there is wayyy too much time for the small number of names here; add some more of the ones mentioned above to the actual quiz and some of the names that aren't actually teachers in the books (neville, kettleburn, dippet, fortescue, etc.) for bonuses
