	Great quiz, the naming messed me up with the Harry Potter films though. Pirates of the Caribbean 2, Pirates of the Caribbean 3, X Men 2, and X Men 3 are accepted but Harry Potter 1-4 are not and the only Potter movie I typed in the full title for was Order of the Phoenix. The HP movies are almost never labeled with numbers though (certainly not as often as the others) so that's my own fault :-P

	Loved it. Missed two, but I'm actually upset about not getting all of them. Almost forgot about the "Pirates" films... but to be fair, they stunk.

	Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix was released on a Wednesday (7/11/07) instead of the typical Friday. It's opening weekend (Fri-Sun) gross was $77,108,414 (which would put it at #22).

	@slew - Action adventure movies typically have a big opening weekend and drop off over the next few weeks. Critically acclaimed movies don't have a big opener but they build an audience over time and can make their money that way. The problem with movies and TV now is that the executives don't give them the chance to build an audience. The money men are looking for instant gratification.

	The only movie I saw out of these was the passion of christ and dont tell Mel Gibson but I didnt like it. I think sporcle should recognize that certain people only play every game because theyre addicted to them and when they type in star wars prequels all 3 answers should've popped up. When i typed in Harry Potter I should've got all of them as well...in fact the only answer I got before I gave up was the top one. The reason I gave up...Simpsons movie didnt show up no matter how many exclamation points I put at the end of it

	The list is meaningless without INFLATION taken into account. Please use the Box Office Mojo "adjusted for inflation" chart, not this. Openings like "The Lost World" (1997) would be near the top of this list. It's telling that the list is entirely consisting of post-2000 movies.

	I don't understand why people are shocked that 'Titanic' isn't up there; most of the reason why it was so successful was because it opened up modestly but slowly but surely everyone on the face of the planet went and saw that movie...over and over again.

	@jawa there is a quiz that takes into account inflation, it has been on here before. This quiz purposely does not include inflation, which is why later films are on the higher end, and there is nothing from before 2000.
