'Defence' should also be accepted for 'defense against the dark arts', as that's how we spell it in England, and in the original books. Great quiz though!!

Yay, another Harry Potter quiz! There should be category just for Harry Potter quizzes, lol. (Also, how come it accepts "Runes" but not "Ancient Runes"?

Yay Harry Potter! Though I do suggest that you accept Ancient Runes, rather than needing the "study" in front of it.

Nevermind, I figured it out. Was there a name for the "classes" he took with Dumbledore in Book 6?

Maybe accept quidditch for Madam Hooch? I know she technically teaches flying lessons, but that leads up to quidditch doesn't it?

"magical beasts" should be acceptable for "magical creatures," since the name of the text book is Magical Beasts and Where to Find Them.

Jack, it's probably because Sinistra's subject is never mentioned in the movies and plays such a small role in most of the books. If the quiz hadn't said Sinistra's name, I probably would have struggled with that subject too.

Occlumency was a class? Really? I would consider it more "tutoring" or... yeah I guess it was sort of a class...

The lesson is definitely named Care of Magical Creatures, though - yes "beasts" is another word for "creatures", but then so are "animals", "critters", etc, then you could argue different words for "care" should count - "Looking After Magical Animals" isn't really the same.

I hadn't read the books in awhile so I forgot Arithmancy but I knew it was something complicated with an A. :( I almost put Apparition but thought that would be stupid (forgot about bonuses answers.) Harry can be the teacher for Dumbledore's Army...that was like their proper defense class.

This was more difficult than I thought, missed four including Sprout and Flitwicks classes. I blame myself for insisting on only reading the Icelandic translations. Would have gotten less if I hadn't watched some of the movies and stuff. Good Quiz :)

I failed on arithmancy and astronomy because i thought it would be arithmacy - wasn't quite sure why an "n" got involved and I put astrology for the other and coudn't remember the other word for it in time!! Ah well, not too bad an effort.

Numerology = arithmancy? Maybe not, but all I could remember was that it had something to do with numbers. @ G. Wiggy: I don't know where Bathsheda Babbling comes from, but Hermione was DEFINITELY taking Ancient Runes with her time-turner thingy in Book 3. I don't know whether they ever mention the professor, but I think it's fine to keep that there.
