	The thumbnail is Gustav Dora's representation of the entrance to the 9th Circle of Hell as told by Dante in The Inferno. The entrance to this circle is like a well and the Titans (and other Giants) are first visible from the waist up, standing either on the 9th Circle itself or on a ledge above it; as well, all but one are chained, and this one, Antaeus, carries Dante and Virgil down into the final circle.
