24/24 in 36 seconds. I'd say it was a toss up between the engineering degree and pledging a frat.

@BigThing: Only if you're doing the quiz without a blocked nose. On another point, if this were an Ancient ANCIENT Greek quiz we would b=have to include the letters koppa, san and digamma which were still present in the ancient number system.

20/24. Mu, nu, upsilon - I didn't figured this IMO funny spelling. We say them [mi:] [ni:] [ipsilon], and write mi, ni, ypsilon so I am baffled. How do you say them in English?

@slovakone mu is said like 'myou'. Nu is like 'new'. Also upsilon is said like 'you-psilon' or 'oopsilon' depending on who you talk to.

I'd like to thank too many army video games and books for alpha, beta, delta, I'd like to thank sci fi and star wars books for omega and gamma, math for pi, the da vinci code for phi, and of course half-life and valve in general for lambda, Thank You All.

I guess it's not useful if I actually know Greek and spell (and pronounce) the letters completely differently. Perhaps we should rename this quiz "The Western Interpretation of the Ancient Greek Alphabet."
