	I never considered myself much of a Genesis fan, but managed to get nine. Definitely an album-oriented band, the kind of band this kind of quiz was designed for.

	I was very excited when I saw Genesis in the title and then quickly let down when it wasn't about the classic sega console. Oh well, its always nice to learn more things that I didn't know that I didn't know.

	"Three Sides Live" has actually one of my favourite ever Genesis songs "You Might Recall". And for my money, "Genesis" is the best of their albums (but then I grew up in the 80's). "Home By The Sea", "It's Gonna Get Better" and "Taking It All Too Hard". Classics!

	I was hoping that Spot the Pigeon would be a bonus answer. It was a three song EP from the Wind and Wuthering period. Hackett's last Genesis.

	Ashman, I can only hope the best band of all time is Yes or ELP and not some crappy 80's band. Genesis was best with Peter Gabriel (although I am a fan of Turn It On Again and even Follow You Follow Me). I am very disappointed that this quiz has drawn Invisible Touch Lovers. Their best albums by far were Selling England by the Pound (With Cinema Show, Battle of Epping Forest, Dancing with the Moonlit Knight, I Know What I Like) and Foxtrot (With Supper's Ready, Get 'Em Out Friday, Watcher of the Skies). Phil Collins was a great drummer in the 70's and a good singer, but Peter Gabriel just had a knack for telling great stories in song form.

	neild3: Agreed, for the most part. Though I do feel the Collins Genesis of the late 70's and early 80's was spectacular. And Then There Were Three and Wind and Wuthering in particular. But the albums you mentioned are insanely good as well. The combination of the two eras is why they're my 2nd fave band. Number 1? Pink Floyd.

	Pity that Abacab and Invisible Touch are more guessed than Foxtrot and Selling England by the Pound. Not that Collins-era Genesis is BAD, mind you.

	Corndog--I think it's inevitable. If you're an early genesis fan, you still know Invisible Touch and Abacab. And if you're not, you only know those albums.

	No band or artist would call an album Nursery Cryme nowadays as it sounds too much like a form of child abuse. I guess Genesis were just making music in more innocent times.

	Poor Ray Wilson-era Genesis. No one remembers him. Then again, there were like one or two good songs on that album.

	neild3 - I totally agree, Selling England is for me their greatest album though Wind & Wuthering i think is a close 2nd. The Battle of Epping Forest and Cinema Show are just epic songs and the Peter Gabriel period is preferable to the Phil Colins era, despite the first three albums after Gabriel's departure being miles better than I expected then to be.

	I'm in partial agreement with myself from 28 months (!) ago. Favourite album...well anything from Nursery Cryme - A Trick of the Tail is utter perfection.
