I realize the dates are there, but come on...you think of Win, Lose or Draw and you think Bert Convy. He created the darn thing with Reynolds (Bert & Burt Productions).

Good quiz! Missing a few (Password? and if Survivor counts, then you also need Amazing Race, Big Brother, Mole, Idol, etc), and it'd also benefit from having multiple hosts for each long-running show.

I liked the quiz, but I don't think Survivor should be included since its not really a game show. Maybe a separate quiz for reality show hosts. Like Antithesys said with Big Brother, Amazing Race, American Idol, etc.

How can we have a Game Show quiz where none of the answers are Bill Cullen? Perhaps he should get his own quiz since he hosted so many different shows.

The quiz is a merge between one I wrote, and one Ben wrote - several things like Password, You Bet Your Life, The Weakest Link, and some UK hosts were on mine, but got cut for some of Ben's picks. I'm sure that several others were on Ben's, but got cut to make room for some of the ones on mine. So in this case, exclusions are even more inadvertent than usual.

There are a few other alternatives to the answers printed here. For instance: Jim Lange hosted Name That Tune; Art Fleming hosted Jeopardy; Ray Combs, Richard Karn, and John O'Hurley hosted Family Feud; Match Game has had several incarnations; Meredith Vieira currently hosts Millionaire; The Price is Right is currently hosted by Drew Carey; and CLASSIC Hollywood Squares was hosted by Peter Marshall. Otherwise, love the quiz. I couldn't spell "Tomarken" for the life of me.

One for the UK would be nice. We have some of the same shows (who wants to be a millionaire, deal or no deal, etc...) but with different hosts.

Louis - Yes, which is why the quiz specifies years. All of those people have hosted the show, but they did not host them in the years given. :)

In addition to the good suggestions from Louis, how about adding:
John Davidson - Hollywood Squares
Ken Ober - Remote Control
Jimmy Kimmel - Win Ben Stein's Money
Art Fleming - Jeopardy!
Louis Anderson - Family Feud
Parodies shouldn't be included, but just for laughs, Howard Stern also hosted:
The Homeless Game
Black Jeopardy!
Hollyweird Squares
Beetlejuice Password
The Weakest Dink
Win Fred's Money
Guess Who's the Jew
Family Feud : Pornstars vs. Slow Adults
Beat the Booey
It's Just Wrong
Name that Poof
Who Wants to Be a Butt Billionaire?
The Mexican Delivery Guy Game
Double Entendre Match Game

Yeah Phil and I combined on this... I don't remember what I put down for some of the other ones.. but I left off some because they only hosted for a few years. I put the more common host for the ones I picked, like Jeopardy and Family Feud...

Good quiz, just two concerns. 1) I don't think Survivor should be on here & 2) Gene Rayburn hosted Match Game from '73-'79 as well, not just in the 60s.

As stated by others, I think the definitive host for Hollywood squares is Peter Marshall. we realize you put years but as hollywood squares hosts goes Tom Bergeron is below John Davidson and Jon "Bowzer" Bauman. Also Bert Convey is the definitive host of Win, Lose or Draw. Just putting down years doesn't change the facts that these people are the icons of these shows. (Only because the current Jeopardy has been on for 25 years does Trebek beat Flemming.) Be back in two and two;)

maybe re-doing the quiz with the suggestions here? listing the multiple shows each guy hosted along with the corresponding years, should take care of the multiple shows for Woolery and others

Some other "classic"game shows would include: Joker's Wild, You Bet Your Life, To Tell the Truth, Liar's Club, Scrabble, and maybe even the Dating Game.

Until I read the comments I didn't even realize that when I typed Convy for Win, Lose or Draw, it filled in Vicki Lawrence.

I have to disagree with chumley here. I won't dispute that Peter Marshall was the definitive Squares host, but "Tom Bergeron is below John Davidson and Jon "Bowzer" Bauman"? Really? Bauman was very awkward, and Davidson couldn't even remember the damn rules. Besides, Bergeron's version lasted the longest out of all the revivals. And I think he's proven himself to be a very capable host, perhaps the best to emerge in the last decade and change.

make Double Dare more specific as to which Double Dare you mean. I didnt realize you were talking about the nickelodeon version. There was an entirely different game show by the name of Double Dare in the 70's which was hosted by Alex Trebek, which is why i couldnt figure out why his name wasnt coming up when i typed it in.

Just to clarify, Rayburn did indeed host a version of Match Game in the 1960's, but it bore little resemblance to the more famous version of the game that began in the 1970's.

I knew Rayburn hosted a version of Match Game in the 60s different from the one we grew to know and love. But I was surprised to see only the dates for that version listed.

sobdennis -- it only has dates listed for that version, cuz those were the dates he hosted... They're not showing dates show ran, but rather the dates a particular host hosted.
