When I type in the name for the singer for Foreigner, it won't accept it.

Red Hot Chili Peppers is a tough spell and Van Halen technically had 2 lead singers... but only 1 is worth remembering!

An odd collection of bands. Got 15/24. Blanked on Foreigner, Duran Duran and Whitesnake.

Klingsta: I typed in Hagar and David Lee Roth popped up. Which means Dio should be included Black Sabbath. But he's not.

Should have Dio, Hagar, and especially Bon Scott listed as options.

if you count hagar you gotta count cherone also for van halen. Even though David Lee Roth is the one and only, you should count the two losers that sang also

Lydon should be acceptable as well as Rotten. Mind you if you know the former name you'll know the latter name!

I thought Gene Simmons was the leader of Kiss! He looked like the leader of that band than Paul Stanley to me lol.

Bon Scott is an option for AC/DC. I think Gene Simmons did some of the vocals for KISS so he should probably be included as well.

First off hagar was just as good as roth with VH IMO, 2nd Paul Stanley deffinately sings lead on most songs but Simmons does sing quite a bit and even Peter Criss did lead on Beth..3rd the eagles to me are more about harmonies then lead vocals, I think is is almost unfair to label Henley as the singer when without Timothy Schmidt, Joe Walsh, and Glen Frey their music is just not the same (sorry to fans of Felder/Meisner but they never brought much to the table vocally.)

You shouldn't put Brian Johnson as the answer diplayed. 90% of AC/DC's good music came out of the Bon Scott period, and Johnson's singing doesn't hold a candle to Scott's. As for Black Sabbath, I believe it's right to display Osbourne, because he was the most famous of the Sabbath singers and, frankly, I think they made some of their best music with him as a singer.

In the Eagles, Glen(n?) Frey sang lead as much as Don Henley, as far as I remember; and Joe Walsh and Timothy B. Schmidt sang some leads, too.

As I discovered while attempting to type "Bon Scott", the quiz accepts "Bon" as the answer for the singer for Duran Duran, which is incorrect - the last name is "Le Bon".

Fall out boy? Get some proper bands on here. Eric Clapton has gone solo after work with various bands. Robert Plant has gone solo after Led Zeppelin. I don't usually try and add answers but these are two of the rock 'n' roll legends.

Wouldn't have got Dave Gahan but his Wikipedia article lists him as Dave Gahan and the website is www.davegahan.com/. It's pretty obvious that Dave should be acceptable.

I'd really like to see bonus answers for some of the bands mentioned, like AC/DC and Van Halen. I mean, where's the love for Dave Evans? And it's just Eagles. Not The Eagles.

I blanked on a lot of these. John Lydon should be accepted for the pistols. Most of these music quizzes seem very slanted to white guitar bands. Would be nice to have a quiz with more soul/funk/reggae etc. Anyone?

why on earth is don henley down as the lead singer of "the eagles" simply because of hotel california? I know it is a long song but surely that doesnt make him worthy of being considered their lead singer in comparison to Glen Frey - who even if he didnt sing on every song was definitely the "front man" during their earlier period - and a drummer being a front man is a contradiction in terms!

All the members of KISS sang lead, in fact, within KISS, each one released a solo album. Paul is more the "frontman" of the group though. Taylor Hawkins also sings on a small handful of Foo Fighters songs (mostly covers/b-sides though) but that's just being nitpicky, I don't think it needs to be in the quiz

I was trying Lydon for Johnny Rotten. Being too young to remember him being famous the first time round, I forgot he had a nickname. I'm glad I can spell Rzeznik.

Bon Scott should surely be listed, as well as merely accepted, for AC/DC - he was the original lead singer! Same with Frey for Eagles, I should think.
