	Tennis quizzes are fun. I think all majors of tennis and golf should be quizzes even though I'm not a huge fan of either.

	I'd been waiting for this one! Excellent quiz. Iva Majoli eh? This quiz could have had a ten week limit and I'd never have got that. And that sound you can hear is me kicking myself for not getting Juan Carlos Ferrero. Doh!

	Great quiz! I love the tennis quizzes too -- they're the only sports quizzes on which I do well. Not to nitpick, but it would have been great to have the men and women in seperate quizzes -- would have given me more time to think.

	It's interesting that certain, very famous tennis players never won this event. But others absolutely killed it, year after year.

	@radiosilence: It's the only Grand Slam played on clay, which has rather different characteristics to grass (Wimbledon) and hard courts (Australian and US Opens).

	Annie you cant be more correct, Fed is the greatest but there are still some tournaments that he needs to win.Olympic singles gold,Rome1000,Montecarlo1000,Paris1000,Shanghai1000,Monteal1000(though hes won toronto1000)Davis cup and that world team cup thing and a few more masters cups and five more gland slams and then he will be the best for sure.Also prob need to beat Nadal at the french at some point in the next few years.But this is just nit picking a little.

	The French certainly throws up some quirkier champions than the other majors. A whole bunch of French champions would stand no chance of winning any of the other majors. In fact I think 23 of those on this list never won a different Grand Slam singles event.

	Majoli beat Hingis that year. Hingis went unbeaten for the year till the finals at the FO, where she was the heavy favorite. It was what kept Hingis from the Grand Slam that year. I knew Brugeura won at least one FO, but I couldn't get his name spelled right. As for the French having quirkier champions, there's also winners of all the other majors who could never win a FO. It takes a different set of skills. I think the "stand a chance" thing cuts both ways. Sampras didn't stand a chance of winning a FO.
