Nice idea for a language quiz. However, if you study French at school, you can rattle all the months off after only a week of learning. For the information of those complaining above, there are accents in February, December and August. However, you don't need to type in the accents to get the mark. I am also very impressed that Sporcle remembered that French months do not take a capital letter.

septembre is weird, because of the name you'd say it's the 7th month although it's the 9th.

its the same with october, november and december (oct=8, non-9, dec=10). It's because the calender was changed, adding January and February, without changing the names of the last months.

@Sporclefan: Tu connais peut-être les mois de l'année (heureusement, j'ai envie de dire, si t'es Suisse), mais vas quand même réviser ta grammaire et conjugaison. :) Also, in French too, there are capital letters for the months.

This should be shorter... I think a minute would be plenty of time. (But perhaps I'm biased because I finished it in 21 seconds. Hm... I should probably get back to my French homework!)

I was taught these to the tune of jingle bells. They don't fit to the tune and that only made them harder to learn. If any one here's a teacher doing that is not recomended.

Aout sounds like something you would here in baseball. Imagine if a French speaker heard a English-speaking baseball game. They would be confused if they didn't know English! (I know they would be confused anyway) Also I am ashamed as I am 11, and this is fresh in my mind, AND my mother is Canadian, so she taught me all of this. I have let half my family down. :(

I would've thought August would be lowest because you hardly ever write it at school, it's always in the holidays.
