Here's assuring that the first comment isn't a complaint about how this isn't "real" football.

The Express was a good movie. And it was filmed at Northwestern.

Needs more 'Not Another Teen Movie'. And 'The Comebacks'. The latter might be one of the funniest movies out there.

I'm really really embarrassed that I correctly answered the bonus (Air Bud: Golden Receiver). Aside from that, awesome :-)

MovieDynamic: Actually, "The Rock" proving that he was pretty good at football. He went to university on a football scholarship, and played professionally for a bit. He may not be the best actor out there, but if you're going to cast an actor to be convincing on the gridiron, he's not a bad choice.

I thought of Brian's Song when I saw James Caan. Forgot that was on TV (and not in the early 90's.) What are some other bonuses you guys got?

I am not embarrassed that I got Air Bud: Golden Receiver. In fact, I think it should have been included as a real answer. The clue could have been Chance, Zak, Chase or Rush. That is a film for the ages. Absolute classic.

"Everybody's All-American" was one of the most depressing movies I've ever seen. Starts off great, then it's two hours of the guy losing his stature, his manlihoof, his wife, his career, he becomes an alcoholic, his best friend becomes a degenerate gambler before being murdered, and finally he becomes a shell of himself. Thanks for that uplifting experience.

@ peanut, i love how americans get all this crap about not being well cultured and whatnot, and being an american who played HS football and soccer, football is very much a sport (its much more physical than soccer, requires much more mental knowledge for preplay reads, i will give it to soccer players that they have much more endurance and stamina). so, maybe its you europeans that should have more of an open mind

I'm glad Junction Boys was listed (I went to A&M), but if it was was included as it was a TV movie, then Brian's Song should have been included as well.

I got the TV movie "gimme" bonus, but was hopeful the "Gus", a Disney film from the 1970's about a field-goal kicking mule would also be a bonus. At the Four Word Film Review, the movie is summarized as "Star bucks".

@ geowiz, Whilst you do get that crap, that's not how I meant it. American football isn't a sport because it's just a bastardised mix of football (the one which you actually always play with your feet), rugby and gaelic football.

@Peanut - but isn't rugby just a "bastardized" version of football too? - From www.rugbyfootballhistory.com - rugby was born in 1823 when William Webb Ellis "with fine disregard for the rules of football (remember football was yet to split into the various codes) as played in his time at Rugby school, first took the ball in his arms and ran with it, thus originating the distinctive feature of the Rugby game"
