Making a quiz like this with the help of everyone in the Sporcle Community is a fantastic idea. I'd love to keep seeing it!

Only one 'p' in DiCaprio, also Hamilton is spelled wrong. Great idea to use the facebook fans to create the quiz.

There's actually no question mark in "What's Eating Gilbert Grape." Look it up.

You should also accept "Milk" for James Franco, incidentally also released in 2008. Lol.

Jam is a food. Chips are food. Fried worms are not food, it is an indication of Pica.

All that food sounds gross...fried worms, fried green tomatoes wtf? What about chocolate cake or creamy mash potatoes...just a suggestion hollywood.

Oh, and Space Jam had absolutely nothing to do with edible 'jam',lol, I feel like my grandfather made this quiz. I guess now's a good time to point out that 'the bomb' doesn't refer to an acutal bomb either.

the movie Milk is titled after Harvey Milk's last name, not the drink. But Space Jam is a little ridiculous also. Jam (a verb meaning to slam dunk a basketball) is not the same as jam (the condiment put on toast)

Animal Crackers also could work for Groucho Marx perhaps? Or Cocoanuts? I mean, I guess you can use the release date against me, but how many sporclers born in/before the 1920's do we have who have no problem remembering which marx brother movies came out when?

Why do people say such and such should be accepted? If it doesn't match the clues then no it shouldn't, as is the case for Milk and Nacho Libre to those who suggested them.

@DRB: Three Musketeers is a candy bar. A Tootsie "roll" is another type of candy. Both are well known in North America, not so much elsewhere.

Fried Green tomatoes are atually very tasty, they are mainly eaten in the American South. I think we had enough movies on here we could have done without Space Jam or Tootsie.

@Zalx - thanks for pointing out the facebook group!! It didn't even occur to me that sporcle would be on facebook, that's cool. ....[insert line break here] Tootsie I would never have got. Three Musketeers I've heard of, but still wouldn't have got.

"Three Musketeers" was a hilarious inclusion, but why "Tootsie"? The word by itself isn't really a food item.

am i going to be assassinated for liking space jam (i was 7 when i watched it), and i can only think of one small reason 'milk' might not be included in a FOOOOOOOOOOOOD!!! quiz :) p.s i tried moby dick for the gregory peck film before realising what i was implying about myself :(

@flinty: "Space Jam" was the best when it came out (I also being seven). Even now, hating Space Jam is like hating Disney cartoons--they weren't designed for you, and technically you could hate them, but what's the point?
