| Maybe accept Stars on Ice for the Olympic figure skaters answer. It's another traveling entertainment show, and one some people may be more familiar with. |

| "Bespeckled"? Unless Harry Potter is a lot splotchier than I remember, perhaps you meant "bespectacled"? |

| Instead of having the same Frost poem on here twice, why not: 'A 1962 novel by Vladimir Nabokov.' |
 | dfoliver: | Aug 4th, 2010 at 20:13 GMT | 12 points |
| What? No chemical catlayst from Vonnegut's Cat's Cradle? |
 | rockgolf: | Aug 4th, 2010 at 20:16 GMT | 8 points |
| I was sure when you followed the question on browsers (Firefox) with a movie question that the movie was going to be "Foxfire". Incidentally, Firefox is also the name of a Clint Eastwood film. |

| @rct: Or a 1982 Pat Benatar song. |

| How about George R.R. Martin's Sci-Fi/Fantasy novel series "A Song of Ice and Fire"? The first book (A Game of Thrones) is coming out on HBO in 2011. I recommend all to read immediately. |

| I liked the Frost one. I couldn't think of it, but when i saw they were under both categories....oh, i knew. |

| Clearly Fire was more difficult than Ice.
Unrelated, I can't believe I missed Robert Frost's "Fire and Ice." |

| in the UK the 'ice celeb' show is called 'dancing on ice'. could accept that. in other news - am i the only one who thought that 'st elmo's fire' might have won an oscar? (in a random kind of way i always start quizzes from the bottom ......) |

| Way too many movies, IMHO. |
 | charolastra: | Aug 4th, 2010 at 22:08 GMT | 16 points |
| Given that there are already a lot of movie clues, maybe you could change the clue for "Bonfire of the Vanities" so it contains some mention of the (wildly successful) Tom Wolfe novel, not just the (unpopular) movie version. |

| I was kinda expecting A Song of Ice and Fire to be on here, but then I realized how fitting it would be to have putting that clue/answer on here be delayed repeatedly. |
 | nhrafan: | Aug 4th, 2010 at 22:50 GMT | 8 points |
| I wish that John Parr was somehow incorporated for the "electrical phenomenon" clue, since his song was much more memorable than its namesake movie. |
 | Xnux: | Aug 4th, 2010 at 23:01 GMT | -4 points |
| Maybe you could accept "Iceweasel" for "Firefox"; Iceweasel is a rebranding of Firefox, so it is still a Mozilla-based open source web browser. |

| Well, it's official. I know more about ice than fire! ☺ |

| I was on fire during the ice bit of the quiz, then when I got to the fire part I cooled off a bit. |

| A Song of Ice and Fire was my first thought! Clearly, my literary skills deserve to be polished is I thought of that over the Frost poem |
 | LaymansTerm: | Aug 5th, 2010 at 01:27 GMT | 7 points |
| It wasn't until 30 seconds were left that I realized the columns were divided into Fire and Ice. I even wondered why the Robert Frost answer appeared twice. |
 | chikka2: | Aug 5th, 2010 at 01:34 GMT | 3 points |
| terrific idea for a quiz, well carried out; cries for a sequel(night and day, brothers and sisters, oranges and lemons...) |
 | GeoExpert: | Aug 5th, 2010 at 01:44 GMT | 2 points |
| Hmm, it seems that there is a bonus answer in the Fire column. I am curious to know what it is. |
 | Jerdoggiedog: | Aug 5th, 2010 at 01:49 GMT | 0 points |
| 'terms with fire or ice in the name' shouldn't be so limited to movies, people, and songs. On thin ice. Holding one's feet to the fire. Icy stare. |
