What about Cyprus-Rhode from "Greek?" That whole show is based there. There should definitely be a part 2 for this.

Would this have worked better if you named the institution, attendee & character and asked for the TV/Movie? Vote up if you agree, down if you don't.

Bender definitely went to Mars University, majored in Bending, minored in Robo-American Studies, and lived in the Robot frat house.

I'm amazed that "Ithaca" doesn't work for Road Trip, but "Ithica" does. Something's gotta be fixed there.

I'm surprised more people didn't get Boy Meets World. The college years were my favorite on that show.

Bit of obscure trivia, but Hearst College (complete with the same crest and colors) also appeared a few times in the short-lived "Moonlight" which co-starred Veronica Mars alum Jason Dohring. Don't think any of the regular characters were attendees, though. Good quiz. Tougher than I expected. Figures that of all the college football movies, the only one I *could* remember the school from was Necessary Roughness/Texas State. Of course, you could also list Rudy/Notre Dame. They've been pretending to be a real college football team for many years now.

I'm surprised there was no Cosby Show in this quiz. I've also never heard of Bending University. There is an entire episode of Futurama that takes places at Mars University. Before now, I always thought Road Trip took place at the actual Ithaca College.

@HollywoodLeo: Maybe because Minnesota State is heavily based on University of Minnesota (until the university withdrew approval) and therefore isn't completely fictional, or possibly because there are now two actual Minnesota State Universities? Just guesses.

@vyllym: He visited Mars University and told the guys at Robot House about his experiences at Bending State, where he actually went. He never attended Mars U, though Amy, Fry, and Gunter did.

I also thought Bender went to Mars University, but I'm watching the episode right now. He did, in fact, attend Bending State. Not sure if they broke continuity in another episode, but in "Mars University," he clearly states that he was in the robot house chapter at Bending State.
