Brian ___ is not a founding member of AC/DC, he joined the band after Bon Scott died. Other than that, great quiz

Yup, "Dave Evans" would actually be the correct answer to the AC/DC question.

This one's OK, but it's just some random first names and a few people with them. Picking one name and making a more extensive list would be more to my liking, but that's just a matter of taste.

Sorry but what's not to understand. They give you a first name and you have to come up with the last. Pretty straightforward.

hscer: I'm not sure you're aware of this, but that sort of quiz does also exist. They're all in the Entertainment section (one example title: "Famous Charlies").
Also, I was so on a roll of getting exactly 3 names for each category until I got to Margaret and only knew Thatcher...

Susan B. Anthony wasn't on a silver dollar, the Anthony dollar was made of copper-nickel and produced from 1979-1981. Silver dollars were last produced in 1935.

@nymnyr321- You're right. Anthony dollars never contained silver, but the majority of the population doesn't know that. It's common to refer to any large silver colored dollar coins as silver dollars. I think you're getting a little nit-picky.

Wonderful quiz, but I feel a little slighted that there is no Brian May, the legendary Queen guitarist, but I guess you didn't want to be too musician-centric on the Brians.

I wish I played this at night. I'm not sure I want to face the day knowing that more people identified Susan Boyle than Brian Wilson by an 84-49 margin. Perhaps more yanks will play this game and close that gap.

@JaxBored: Sporcle's proclaimed mission is one of education. With that spirit in mind, quizzes may as well be as correct as possible. The term "US dollar coin" is more correct and doesn't make the clue any harder to figure out.

I think Asmodeus10's question is "Is there a connection between the names Susan, Neil, Nancy, Jerry, Margaret, and Brian? Or are these six random names?" I'm wondering the same thing. Are they Survivor finalists? Australian cabinet members? James Beard award winners?

When I saw the question for the Susan on Britain's Got Talent, I typed "Atkins" before correcting myself. Also, for ACDC's lead singer, I thought "Brian Johnson... no wait, that's the geek from 'The Breakfast Club."

I can't believe less than 30% of people know who wrote Gone With The Wind, especially after being given her first name.

Jerry _____ is also hardly the lead singer of the Grateful Dead (any more than John Lennon or Paul McCartney was the 'lead singer' of the Beatles), he was the lead guitarist and he's the guy everyone knows, but the vocals were split pretty evenly.

@ratface: Margaret Court's maiden name was Smith, and she was well established in the tennis world with that name before getting married to Barrymore Court.
