Definitely not enough time...six seconds per answer is way too short IMHO

My god, what a bunch of rich white folk names. The exact same people who would get pet insurance. Not sure this is very representative of the complete dog population of America.

Maybe if we actually had a dog we wouldn't have sucked at this game.

actually, pet insurance is not very expensive and really useful if you are lower or middle income. imagine having to let your pet die because you couldn't afford care for it? rich people would be able to pay out of pocket (though i agree that they probably also get insurance) - i'm just saying, i got my cat for free from a shelter and they had really super affordable pet insurance programs there.

Funny how none of the "typical" dog names aren't on there. Rover, Rex, Fido, Spot, etc.

@Kidd M.: So, er, now we all want to know how many girls you've dated. Just for statistical purposes, you understand. *nodnod*

I got five not because I knew five but because I knew four and then put in an ex-girlfriend's name just to be mean. Who knew.

Small thing but could you add that this is most popular dog names in the US? Looking at the answers, it patently is lol - it would help to know that for sure (though I assumed it was).

A lot of them are names that are also popular for kids right now - Max, Sam, Sophie, Annie, etc. That's how I managed to get 16.

Now we need a quiz for Cats names ? then birds , goldfish , boa constrictors (saw a chap in Florida walking along with one wrapped round his neck ) I was choked :) No Rover or Lassie or Major on the dogs list ? Cheney could be a great name for a Rotweiler .

I always thought it was dumb when people gave their dogs boring human names. I am definitely naming my dog Bowser. my Bro's dog is Snoop, like Snoop Dogg. Sam? Lame.

Took me four minutes before getting one right, and finished with nine. The key was guessing last names, which are also the trendy baby names now like Cooper and Bailey.

Dude there is no way that the people who got every name correct didn't cheat. I mean, who's going to guess something like winston?
