You're not kidding this is a difficult quiz. Got a few on lucky guesses, but still.

Wow, great quiz but so tough. I struggled to get half right. No offence to the likes of Michael Douglas, Robin Williams etc, but surely De Niro should have made it before them....

The 1952 winner is a director, not an actor. (Not that I would have dreamed of guessing him.)

The drunk-ass morons who think 1952 and 1954 are ACTORS should be shot. How hard is it to look at IMDB or Wikipedia??

I sat here and typed every name I could think of for 8 minutes straight and got 12 right...I bombed because there are a lot of famous people I just plain forgot. Im pretty sure a quiz like this could have a time of 20 minutes and not many would get close to getting them all

This is a great quiz. It's not one most people would get all of them on the first try, but guessing is fun. I didn't do too bad guessing.

Actually the guy from 1954 is much more known for being a studio head than a director.

I can't believe I didn't type "Cecil B Demille" as an answer until I had a couple of minutes left.

Leroy is probably best known as a director.

Shouldn't Redford be an Actor/Director?

Wooohooo! I missed a lot of these! Alan Alda should get one of these awards, he's such a good actor/director!

There actually is a winner for 2008 (Peter O'Toole), but because of the writers' strike, it was given at the 2009 ceremony.

Once again, I would like to express my opinion that Michael Douglas is outragesouly overrated and a director like Stanley Kubrick should win eons before Douglas does.

Scorsese is much more famous for being a director than for being a producer...
