worked ok for me. It would be harder to choose the order of events. I know the first and last but the ones in-between...

I got them all, but I had to type some of the answers multiple times before it registered. (110 meter hurdles, 1500 meter run). I knew they were in the decathlon, so I just typed the same thin 3-4 times until it worked.

"110 metre hurdles" doesn't work for "110 meter hurdles"... but "hurdles" does! Interesting! Good quiz though.

too much time, unless you do (as suggested) events in order.

I think "110 meter high hurdles" should be accepted, too.

why do you actually have to type "100m dash" and '1500m run", when "400m" works just fine on its own?

Yea, I can Goog or Wiki this, but then I'd have to play again to post comment: what's the diff. between long jump and broad jump. Picky, picky, picky.

Nice idea (brings back memories of many wasted afternoons on Daley Thompson's Decathlon on Spectrum 48k). Only suggestion is that there is too much time in the current format - proved by the fact that about 40% got full marks and over 80% got 8/10 or better. Suggest this needs either less time, or you are required to answer in order.

Quiz could maybe be made better as a minefield, would stop people just guessing random events.

I played this game constantly on my Atari 2600. I got many a blister on the tip of my index finger.
