I have no idea who this guy is, but I don't think that relative obscurity to modern folks should merit such a poor quiz rating, so I gave him 5 of whatever those things are.

He is indeed one of the greatest of all directors - but I still only got 9/16 on this quiz. One of the ones I didn't get was one of the seven of his that I've seen (it was the 1965 film.)

No offense intended towards Mr. Lean and his work, but I know three directors named David more deserving of a Sporcle quiz: Lynch, Cronenberg and Fincher.
