	Eh, some issues here. Rockefeller founded Standard Oil, which was then broken into pieces. Although ExxonMobil has put some back together, it's inaccurate to say that Rockefeller was the founder. Also, what's with needing to name each one? That's getting a bit over-specific.

	Added Standard Oil to Exxon to help make it clearer and you don't have to name every founder, it will accept the last name of any one of the multiple founders where applicable. Hope that helps

	Exxon and Mobil - the two parts of ExxonMobile - were both parts of Standard Oil. Rockefeller is, at the very least, a logical answer - though the Standard Oil clarification improves the quiz. As for naming each one, indeed, any founder given will be taken.

	Coca-Cola as a company was actually founded by Asa Griggs Candler. Pemberton was the inventor of the formula and started his own company (Pemberton Medicine), but the Coca-Cola company did not come into existence until 1892 - three years after Candler bought the formula from him.

	My understanding was that Candler bought Pemberton Medicine and created the Coca-Cola company from it - which, for me at least, still makes it a company that Pemberton started. But as I do some more research, it's sufficiently muddy that Candler should be an accepted answer. I'll get it added.

	Ray Kroc merely took McDonalds, a roadside diner founded by the McDonalds brothers, to the next level by selling it a milkshake machine and franchising it. I read that plaque a lot when I was sweeping out the dining room...

	magister - Yeah, that one I know. It's a similar case to Pemberton, but on this one I go in the opposite direction. Kroc is widely credited as the founder of McDonalds. This credit is historically questionable in some ways, but it remains wide crediting. In this case, though, I didn't want t include the McDonalds themselves because it was too easily guessable from ignorance - that is, if someone just typed the name figuring "Hey, maybe it was named after the founder." I figured that anybody who actually knows about the McDonalds brothers, as opposed to guessing, will also know about Kroc and be able to still get it right.

	Phil Knight should be an acceptable answer for Nike, instead of having to type "Philip." Do a Google search on both names and you'll find that he's known almost exclusively as Phil Knight, not Philip.

	Here's the thing. I've read just about everything you can possibly read about the fast food industry, and more, OK? I know, for a FACT, that Ray Kroc DID NOT invent McDonald's. What he did was take full ownership of it in the mid 50's. The McDonald brothers, Richard and Maurice, created a drive-in in the 30's called McDonald Brothers Burger Bar Drive-In, then later, in the 50's, Kroc took full ownership of McDonald's. So technically, Kroc is NOT the founder of McDonald's.
