London skyline is pretty badly represented, could have shown the skyscrapers instead rather than a really limited view of one famous landmark

I'm sad to say that for me, this quickly degenerated into a "guess as many major cities as possible" quiz.

Wow, Sporcle, I'm disappointed the greatest skyline in the world, Chicago's, is not represented.

or New York, they say that is the most recognizable skyline in the world.

Perhaps that's why... Fair enough, a couple of others are pretty easy from the pictures if you know the landmark visible, but New York has so many world famous ones it would be pointless having it

Very cool quiz, and glad you made it worldwide. How about a world leaders quiz with pictures? Of course it would get outdated fairly quickly!

I'm not sure why only 55% of the people are getting Rio, the Jesus statue is one of the most recognizable landmarks in the world, and so are the Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur - only 25% there. Can't believe I forgot Dubai. Great quiz, I'd love to see more like this.

OK, I understand that you are trying not to be too America-centric on this one, which is fine. But if you're going to include ANY American skyline you MUST include Chicago, which is by far the best skyline in America, and possibly the greatest skyline in the world. I mean, St. Louis?? Really, Sporcle?

C'mon, give St. Louis SOME credit. The Arch is an American icon.

@ weizenugb: Sporcle consists of mentally STIMULATING diversions... Chicago represents a no-brainer in this situation, and thus does not merit inclusion.

@ Hanz: Oh, why now I get it! Thanks so much for clearing that up for me! I hadn't realized what this website was all about! (If you missed the sarcasm, which someone of your apparent pompousness just might do, let me tell you that for anyone who does NOT live in the USA, Chicago's skyline is definitely not a no-brainer.)

i love the fact that this quiz leaves out some of the most recognizable (obvious) skylines and that it includes some lesser known ones (albeit from major cities). i didn't bother going into random guess mode because i figured this quiz was designed to discourage that.

Super quiz. You can answer some of these by its features: Seattle's Space Needle, St Louis and the Arch, Kuala Lumpur's Petronas Towers, Toronto's CN Tower, Rio de Janerio Christ Redeemer, Paris Effiel Tower, and London's Big Ben are all pictured.

wow, ive been waiting for this quiz for such a long time - great work. Definately looking forward to sequels. There are definately more recognizable shots of the Seoul-Skyline (didn't get it although being there 2 months ago) And HongKong definately has the most beautiful Skyline in the world. Please more!

For those suggesting that New York and Chicago would have been too easy, did you happen to notice Paris there? Can't be much easier than that. My guess is that there will be a sequel and some of the "classics" are being saved for that.

You probably should have to enter the city name in the correct box. I mistakenly typed "Singapore" when I meant to type Kuala Lumpur, and so got credit for it. I didn't actually know Singapore. Otherwise it degenerates into just typing big cities.
