shouldn't "westin turberry" be enough? you really have to type 'the westin turnberry resort"?

Agree about Westin Turnberry. In fact Turnberry should be enough.

Would hoylake not be acceptable for Royal Liverpool? I don't know anyone who refers to it as such and i'm from the area.

I think Sandwich should be acceptable for Royal St George's. I'm sure it's more often than not referred to as that.

I agree with grimsby_fan. By the way, it's 'The Open Championship', not the 'British Open'

Rob Mc: I'm from the area too, and while WE call it Hoylake because we know where it is, in the wider golf world it's always Liverpool. Would be nice to have Hoylake as an available answer though.

I think simply Royal Lytham should be accepted. It's almost never referred to by its full name here in the States.

Please get the title right. It has always been called the "Open Championship". Everyone into golf calls Liverpool Hoylake and St George's Sandwich. Enjoyed the quiz though.

Half the time I couldn't figure out what you wanted. "Turnberry" works, but I actually had to write "golf club" in to get Royal St. George's and Royal Troon, among others? This is poorly written, sorry.
