I'm so used to these quizzes being best-selling or most popular or whatever in the US only, I didn't even bother to enter the Fiats and Renaults, etc. Probably should have figured that out when I saw those two Spains listed. I spent a solid minute trying to remember the last time I saw a Seat on American roads.

I was surprised that the Trabant didn't make it - it just snuck out of this list.

Jaspers that doesn't make any sense. Typing Pinto doesn't even give you Punto...

This was an interesting but tough quiz. Unless one has lived in different parts of the world, it would be hard to know all of these, because many are/were not sold worldwide. And 2/3 of my cars I've owned are on this list.

"There's a good chance everybody who takes this quiz owned one of these cars at some point, or at least has driven one." Oh, how you underestimate the number of young folks on the internet...

Recently one of my favorite things about Sporcle has been opening the comments, clicking on score, and going right to the bottom to see what MovieDynamic had to say this time. Even if i didn't enjoy the quiz that day, or it wasn't my 'specialty subject', I can always rely on getting some entertainment out of MovieDynamic and the comments section :)

A bit surprised the VW Polo didn't make it, think they've been going a fair while. Also, perhaps Nova should be acceptable as the previous name for the Corsa in the UK (similar to cavalier for vectra)

I got 23/50, really tough to be honest. I'm only 23, from the UK, and hadn't heard of a lot of the US cars. Gutted I misspelt Camaro though (Camero ?!?). I'm also in the process of buying a Honda Civic but failed to get that....epic fail /o

For the punto-pinto thing, keep in mind that u and i are side by side on a QWERTY keyboard. You may accidentally press one instead of the other.

HA. I was going for "5 Series" and got the Renault 5 and Ford A Model instead. (Apparently hit A instead of S).

The Mazda 323 was known as a Protoge here in the US but when I put in Protoge it was not accepted for the 323. Can't believe I forgot Ford Escort, my first car that is still sitting in my driveway.

Gave up after typing in Volkswagen Beetle and it not appearing. Why except VW and not Volkswagen, I never refer to Volkswagen as VW and don't know many people that do. Spoiled the whole quiz for me!

I was surprised that plain old army Jeeps didn't make the list. Turns out they were made by a number of corporations over the years, and aren't at all the same car. *TMYK!
