Cheesecake is spelt wrong. As a side note, you guys don't have Bohemian Raspberry? You're missing out.
Dec 28th, 2008 at 04:57 GMT
Am I crazy or did there used to be a flavor called "One sweet whirled"?
Dec 28th, 2008 at 05:11 GMT
I only knew Cherry Garcia and Americone Dream because of the Colbert Report.

"spelt" is spelled wrong. And there should be an apostrophe in "Jerry's."
Dec 28th, 2008 at 05:38 GMT
"Heath Bar" by itself should be acceptable for both or neither, but I don't see how that particular phrase gives you only the Vanilla variety.
Dec 28th, 2008 at 06:41 GMT
@ peter: There was a Dave Matthews Band One Sweet Whirled, but it was a limited addition.
Dec 28th, 2008 at 09:34 GMT
What about Bohemian Raspberry and Jamaica Me Crazy?
Dec 28th, 2008 at 11:54 GMT
@The Admiral: both "spelt" and "spelled" are correct. See, for example, the OED.
Dec 28th, 2008 at 14:24 GMT
there's also a flavor named Chocolate Therapy
Dec 28th, 2008 at 14:49 GMT
"Cinnamon Bun" (singular) should be enough, surely?
Dec 28th, 2008 at 15:43 GMT
I think the quiz must be US only because there are many flavours missing that are available in the UK. Lemon Sorbet, Bohemian Raspberry, Berry Berry Extraordinary, Caramal Chew Chew, Vanilla Toffee Crunch and Chocolate Fudge Brownie yoghurt are all available here but several flavours listed in the quiz are not available here.
Dec 28th, 2008 at 15:59 GMT
Spelt is perfectly acceptable in places outside of the States. I agree, though - there are flavors that aren't on the quiz which are available elsewhere. I remember One Sweet Whirled as well, peter.

peace of cake??
Dec 28th, 2008 at 18:00 GMT
You'll have to forgive me about the "spelt" thing. All of the other British spellings that differ from the American ones make sense to me, but this one really doesn't.
Dec 28th, 2008 at 21:21 GMT
I miss Wavy Gravy... also, I got seven, and I was surprised at grabbing that many.
Dec 29th, 2008 at 00:26 GMT
@The Admiral: Fair enough -- I'd not realised it was a Britishism/nonAmericanism but the explanation is that it's spelt exactly as it sounds. We also have `dreamt' and `wept'.
Dec 29th, 2008 at 07:13 GMT
"wept" and "dreamt" are also American, but for some reason "spelt" isn't. I pronounce "spelled" like it sounds, but I also pronounce "wept" and "dreamt" like they sound, so go figure.

You missed my favourite flavour - Baked Alaska! Vanilla ice cream with white chocolate polar bears and marshmallow swirls! mmmmmmmmm...
Dec 29th, 2008 at 16:34 GMT
Why did Bovinity Divinty get retired? Those were some tasty cows.
Dec 29th, 2008 at 19:53 GMT
Where is Coffee Coffee Buzz Buzz? We went on a tour of the plant a couple of years back with my bff's little brother and had to forbid him from taste testing that one.

great quiz. Also, I think the Ben and Jerry's flavor graveyard would make a great quiz.

I'm protesting this quiz after typing in From Russia with Buzz and it not coming up. Gone but not forgotten my delicious friend. :(
Aug 19th, 2009 at 06:08 GMT
mission to marzipan? come on, that's the best flavor there is.
Sep 10th, 2009 at 01:51 GMT
This was a case of knowing a lot of the flavors but not the names. For example, I knew there was a Chocolate Fudge one, but I didn't knoww it was Chocolate Fudge Brownie. I also knew that there was a Phish ice cream but not what it was called. Nevertheless, I enjoyed this quiz just to read the actual names of some of these. Vermonty Python? Neapolitan Dynamite?! These are amazing names.
Nov 2nd, 2009 at 04:09 GMT
could these be alphabetized?
Dec 22nd, 2009 at 23:45 GMT
best flavors: coconut almond fudge chip and coconut seven layer bar.
Jan 15th, 2010 at 22:06 GMT
I don't know about you guys, but I haven't seen HALVE of these at my Ben n Jerrys
Feb 22nd, 2010 at 01:14 GMT
Chunky Monkey for the win!!!
Mar 3rd, 2010 at 21:39 GMT
Some of you complaining about missing flavors are either naming retired flavors or flavors of their sorbets and frozen yogurts, which are not ice cream. This type of quiz is hard, because there are always new flavors coming out and old flavors being retired, but it was fun.
May 8th, 2010 at 11:25 GMT
caramel choo choo?
Jul 3rd, 2010 at 03:33 GMT
missing: triple caramel chunk, vanilla fudge chip, chocolate therapy, coconut seven layer bar, strawberry, coffee coffee buzz buzz buzz, sweet cream and cookies some limited edition/new flavors: peanut butter cookie dough, pumpkin cheesecake, chocowlate chip, milk and cookies
Jul 25th, 2010 at 15:05 GMT
cheesecake is spelled: cheesecake your wrong Ellinikos
Aug 3rd, 2010 at 18:34 GMT
Phish Food FTW!!!
Aug 15th, 2010 at 17:21 GMT
Why don't they have Vermonty Python anymore????
Aug 18th, 2010 at 08:18 GMT
I feel as if I should protest, because Chocolate Macadamia is proof that there's a heaven, and it's in a little cardboard tub and yet not on this quiz.
Aug 19th, 2010 at 21:29 GMT
As an until-recently B&J employee and a still regular customer, I have to say that you are missing a number of Scoop Shop flavors. Now, if you meant this to be what is currently for sale in pre-packed pints...
Mar 25th, 2011 at 00:35 GMT
Neapolitan dynamite and Marsha Marsha marshmallow are gone, those were the first ones I ever tried. Could you make the retired ones/limited editions bonuses?
