Awesome quiz, except for the not putting Quilmes on it (Yeah, I hate these kind of comments, but since the "symbol beer of Argentina", at least as seemed on ads and also on soccer, it was needed)

good quiz, but i dont like that coors was used to represent the united states. i guess a lot of the beers on the list were the very popular ones but i wouldve gone with a GOOD beer. something like a sam adams? also, doesnt molson-coors produce molson and coors (naturally)? cant be two different countries in that case...

Tough quiz, but fun. I've served Pilsner Urquell, maybe even drank it, but I couldn't remember where it was from.

Wow, talk about obscure beer choices. Cass? TUI?!?! I would expect Steinlager for New Zealand and at least Hite for South Korea. Either way, I suppose it's an ok quiz.

I love quizzes like this. You never know how many different countries you're drinking until you see a list like this. Also, was pretty suprised Heineken wasn't on here. But great quiz

LOL, just thought about it, if you don't do well sober... maybe you will do great drunk! That would be cool :) @Keiyashi. United Kingdom really shouldn't count for England. England is a country conjoined together with Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland, into one "United" Kingdom. So if England counts, then Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland should too.

Yep, I'm Australian too and I think I've had one Fosters in my life and I'd be quite happy to never have it again. Over here it's all about VB, Carlton Draught and XXXX. Although I love my German beer personally, always seems to be perfect.

Neat quiz. Actually had a similar round in last night's pub quiz. The only one that was on both this quiz and last night's was Singha. Wouldn't have known that one otherwise. :) 21/24

Tusker is also the name of the Vanuatu beer; brewed in a factory on the main roundabout (I think there is only one anyway) in Port Vila. If you're gonna have Tusker in there, you've got to accept Vanuatu as well as Kenya. Also, its getting a bit frustrating that you can type "UK" to get the United Kingdom answer, but whenever good old New Zealand comes up, us Kiwis have to type the whole thing in. Why oh why can't Sporclers allow us to use the truncation "NZ"?

Interesting choice of Kiwi beer actually as well. The Indian Pale Ale. Not necessarily the classiest of drops, and probably little known outside NZ. I'd guess that more people have quaffed down a bottle of Steinlager, Speights or Mac's Gold as their first experience of Kiwi beer.

San Miguel is the name of the biggest brewery in the Philippines but it is also the name of a large and very popular brewery in Spain. In the UK, the San Miguel that we import is from Spain, we don't get it from the Philippines. Consequently, I think the question is a little unfair.

Brahma's make big inroads in England recently (or at least where I live), they're trying to market it like Corona (which incidently I was surprised wasn't the choice for Mexico- never heard of Dos Equis, but as its high up it must be big in the States). That's the reason I knew it was Brazilian. I was personally very surprised San Miguel was Filipino- with the name I always assumed it was Spanish or something. Great quiz

After it didn't accept Spain for San Miguel, I tried Portugal then every Latin American country, all of which were wrong. I then tried Spain again, got confused, tried Spain one last time and eventually had to concede defeat on that entry.

San Miguel is a Spanish beer, also brewed in the Philippines as a leftover from colonialism...so it should really be Spain. Also fosters is essentially British. Good quiz though.

I don't know anything about beer expect the fact that legally I still can't drink it and I somehow got 12/24...either I'm really spot on with catching name-country origins or subconsciously I'm doomed to morph into Homer Simpson. I'll toast to the former.
