	From that list T. Matthews gave, I would only add Firefly and Deadshot. Hush and Phantasm are awesome, but limited appearances.

	Is it reasonable to say Joe Chill made his first appearance in 1939 when he was just a nameless mugger in the first issue? (I'm guessing the reference is to the first version of Batman's origin.) I ask because I could not think of a "major" villain prior to the Joker, aside from the Monk, mentioned by T. Matthews.

	T-Matthews - Red Hood isn't really a separate villain. First he was pre-Joker Joker, but then he was Jason Todd, or something like that. And Cluemaster is like the Riddler but worse. His only claim to fame is being Spoiler's dad. Toymaker is from the animated series(unless you're thinking of Toyman, a Superman villain), I'm pretty sure GWS is Superboy,and aside from Deadshot, Hush and Killer Moth I've never even heard of the rest.

	I agree with Angelo, I was lookin for all the bad guys from the Adam West incarnation, though the animated series helped too. Where's the dude with the mobster dummy Scarface? Or what about Carmine Falcone?

	Harley Quinn is the Joker's girlfriend and was created for the Batman Animated Series. This test does need Hush, though, as well as Calendar Man, Lady Shiva, Killer Moth, Zsasz, Hugo Strange, Terrible Trio, Firefly, Kite Man, and Red Hood.

	All of you people suggesting villains need to realize there is only ONE villain who strikes complete and utter fear in the depths of the Dark Knight's heart. That villain: Crazy Quilt. (I kid you not, he is [was] a real batman villain : http://batman.wikia.com/wiki/Crazy_Quilt Check out that outfit. "Strength level: Crazy Quilt possesses the strength level of a man his age, size and weight who engages in moderate regular exercise." So...not unlike a suburban dad. Severe threat to the Batman indeed.)
