10-15 years ago when I kept up with tennis I probably could have nailed the top 25 but now I cant name more then 4.

Awesome quiz! Just one thing: Del Potro should be accepted instead of Potro.

Murray is third in the world now. This quiz is already wrong

Roddick should be left off the list, he's an embarrassment to US tennis

Jesus - Murray is still fourth in this week's rankings. However it is guaranteed that he will go third next week when last years Roma Masters points get dropped (Djokovic will lose the 1000 points he got for winning Rome 2008 and can gain a maximum of 250 for winning this weeks Serbian Open, whilst Murray will only lose 70 for his defeat in the last 32 in Rome)

Technically Murray will not reach #3 until next monday. And I think most countries would love to have such an "embarrassing" player that has been ranked in the top 12 every week for almost 7 years.

I remember the days when the US had as many as 10-15 players in the top 50. 3? That is a national embarassment.

@ Jesus - poor comment, Murray is still world 4 officially, so the quiz is currently correct @ Jack - dreadful post, I take it you know nothing about tennis? Players such as Rajeev Ram, Amer Delic, Douglas Young and Bobby Reynolds I could understand if you said they were embarassments. But Roddick? No, just no.

Seven minutes seems a bit short for fifty answers. That said, you could give me half an hour and I still wouldn't get more than three or four.

I like how the seven I got...were the seven most commonly answered. I wonder how tennis will react when Federer and Nadal retire.

What's with all this love for Andy Roddick? I want an American to do well as much as anyone and all Roddick ever does is crank big serves and crumble under pressure during the late rounds of grand slams. And you all know it's true! If he showed the steel to break serve on federer once in a while he might be worth getting excited about.

Yeah. It sucks to be Andy Roddick. Having a swimsuit model for a wife and making a ton of money just blows.

I got 5 and knew 3 others, hate to say it but this is prob one quiz which I won't take the time to learn the ones I missed. After all I'd lose a load of elements, presidents and capitals for that lot!

Fabrice Santoro is in the top 50 still?? I thought of him, but I had no idea that he could still play that well. He's one of my favorite tennis players, and his style of play is almost hilarious since it's so different from everyone else's. At age 36, I definitely did not expect him to be in the top 50.

Julien Benneteau is from France, not Finland. Otherwise, a great quiz.

The correct name for the Swedish player is "Söderling", not "Soderling". Both spellings should be accepted, not just the incorrect one.

I was actually surprised at how many I tried that weren't on there. . .Tipsarevic, Zverev, Gil, Gremelmayr, Hernych, etc. 38/50.

8 French in the Top 50... not so bad ! However, I got 29. As many people said, the most difficult for all of us is the spelling. Kohlschreiber (even if I studied German...), Kunitsyn, Arguello. By the way, i think Schüttler should be accepted

I'm a big fan but this is still quite challenging - Chardy, Moya!, Arguello, etc. really hard even though I know their names and have watched them play!

The quiz should accept "Vassallo" or "Vassallo Arguello" instead of just "Arguello."

With Nadal out of the way, if Roddick can get past Federer I think he has a chance. I will be happy to eat my words about him if he can bring a grand slam back to America

I guess not, Roddick still sucks hard. Out in 3 straight sets to monfils, didn't even last long enough to get dominated by Federer. Mardy Fish, we need your help!

I think this quiz needs to be updated now. I'm fairly sure Federer is taking the #1 spot back and Roddick will move back into the top 5.
