Dang, the country I thought was from 1993 turned out to be the bonus, and I would never have thought about the actual country that joined in 1993!

Interesting bonuses, but was more surprised by the lack of Iran, Afghanistan, and Pakistan.

Iran, Afghanistan and Pakistan are not "Arab" nations. Islamic, yes, but not Arab. 22/22.

there are several bonuses. Venezuela has "observer" status, for goodness' sake. It's like a list of Bush's axis of evil, or whatever the heck that idiot called it.

palestine- not a country although it is a member of the arab league thats why it can be on this quiz. if the quiz was "countries of the arab league", palestine would be a wrong answer. also, bush's "axis of evil" has some legitimacy- look where 99% of all terrorism in the world stems from.

dje...whose definition of the word "terrorism" are you using? Plus, you used "Bush" and "legitimacy" in the same sentence. Do you not see the irony in that?

Just cos Iran etc aren't Arab countries, doesn't neccesitate that they aren't in the Arab League (I know they aren't). Somalians aren't Arabs for sure, but their country is in the league.

But Palestine isn't a country! ;) Also, there's WAY too much time here. With five minutes, you could spin through every country in the middle east, eastern europe, western asia, and northern africa with time to spare. I'd say two minutes, three tops, would be perfect for this quiz.

@wolver: Linguistic and political considerations often trump genealogical ones when defining 'Arab'. Arabic is considered an official language in Somalia.

Country or not, Palestine shouldn't be so damn low. It only takes like a second to type it. More people guessed Djibouti! It may not be a "country", but most Arab nations CONSIDER it a country.

wtf you should accept U A E as the correct answer, seeing as it is three separate words: United Arab Emirates. NOT UAE/Unitedarabemrirates i mean that's just not a word. fix it. now.
