| I've been watching this show since season one. It's good for entertainment value, however, in the real modeling world, none of these girls have ever made it. It's too bad, because there are some truly marketable girls on the show, but, on a whole, Tyra's standards rarely match up to those of Wintour, Roitfield, or Sozzani. None of those girls have ever booked a major (or minor) campaign of any designer, ever appeared in Vogue (Italia, Paris, US, none). It's really a shame. There have just been enough lackluster contestants and winners to make the fashion industry discount the show. |
