Why is gut not included? It's (a) an accepted medical term and (b) not remotely rude.

"Gut" refers to a general area of the body, consisting of several real organs. It doesn't count.

Ass, but, bum... Unless I missed a fourth way to express this body part in 3 letters, I think there's something missing from the list ^_^

@Anthithesys: It seems rather arbitrary to reject "gut" (a system of organs with related function) while accepting "arm" and "leg" (systems of bones and muscles with related functions).

Nice quiz. 9/10. The instructions could also state that abbreviated terms aren't included (lat, pec).

Yes but the arm and leg aren't generally or medically referred to as systems. The arm is an arm, and in order to make up the arm and perform the arms function there are bones and ligaments etc. However the gut is a term used to refer to the general AREA in which a lot of the intestinal organs are positioned, though all do not have the same function eg. kidney, liver etc.

The "Rod" is part of the eye, but that might be too small. Funny quiz.

@:): : Informally, "gut" is used to mean the lower abdomen (as in, "I punched him in the gut", "he has a beer gut"). However, in medical use, the term refers to the digestive tract, which is very much a system of organs with closely-related functions.

the arm is the area from your shoulder to your elbow, the leg is the area from your knee to your ankle...they are actual anatomical terms to locate a specific area of the body
