The Hamilton in Scotland is just a town, not a city. Whether all of these settlements are regarded as cities or not, I'm not sure.

Hamilton, Ontario, Canada has a population of over 500,000 - hardly a "settlement" unworthy of being called a city.

I tried Canada for Hamilton as well. Hamilton, Canada has a population of 505,000, whereas Hamilton, New Zealand has a population of just 141,000.

"Can you name the country in which these cities are in?" --> ..."in which these cities are in"? Might want to check that grammar.
