	These quizzes are sort of silly, aren't they? I mean, either you speak French, in which case you know them all, or you don't. Same with the "numbers in Spanish" or "counting in Italian" type quizzes. I don't really get how there's so much variance in the answers, to tell the truth.

	Wow, I've been speaking fluent French for about 4 years now and I still miss one...century to be exact for some reason I thought it was 'sigle'...my mind works in strange ways lol.

	@segacs: I don't know, I find it kind of fun to stumble around and try different things seeing if they'll work. Or sing "Frere Jacques" to myself in English and French to see if any of the words are helpful. I speak no languages but English, so I usually do pretty bad at these (4/14 on this one), but I still think they are fun quizzes.

	2 years of French 30 years ago - got 10. I think these quizzes are aimed at how much people rememeber vs how much they know. If fluent french speakers bother to take this one, it must be a slow day at the office (Le bureau).

	@segacs: you know, there are other options than either speaking a language fluently or not speaking it at all. I only speak some French, which is why I only got 8 of the answers here. I don't think these language quizzes are silly at all - they help me remember some of the words that I've forgot.

	hate to be a spoil sport, but the last two answers are wrong. "du soir" and "du matin" mean "of the evening" and "of the morning." "au soir" and "au matin" are accurate, and oftentimes people simply say, "le matin" or "ce matin."

	@jan heenan...I found "8 heures du soir" meaning 8 o'clock in the evening in le petit Robert dictionary, and also "hier/le 17 au soir", meaning yesterday, the 17th, in the evening...so either preposition is correct to precede "soir,"depending on the context. Good quiz.

	i hate these quizzes. either you speak the language and you get them all right or you dont speak the language and you dont even play. its not like the other sporcle quizzes where i know most of the answers and its just a matter of me remembering. this quiz is pretty much either a 100 of or a 0 or ppl dont care.

	Je suis Français, et honteusement je n'ai pas su épeler "décennie". Je pars me cacher avec ma baguette, mon béret et mon litre de rouge. I'm a French guy and I did not succeed in spelling "décennie" right. I go to hide with my baguette, my beret and my bottle of red wine ! About "In the morning" : I don't know the right meaning of the English expression, but 8 AM is said "8 heures du matin". Do you say "8 o'clock in the morning" in that case ? If you mean "I will visit you sometime in the morning", we say "DANS la matinée" (matinée is quite the same word as matin, but used in that case). This can cause some confusion

	If I ever knew the word for "decade", I couldn't remember it now. I got all the others, though. I like quizzes like this. I'm not fluent in French or Spanish, but I speak them both on a basic level, so for someone like me, this is great fun! :)

	@ZeZapatiste, Yes, we'd say, "8 o'clock in the morning," or more casually,just "8 in the morning." Bon appetit! (my MS programme doesn't seem to do accents graves)

	If you think language quizzes are silly, then why click on them in the first place, it's just arrogant to assume than every quiz should be do-able by you. Besides, you either took French or Spanish in High School, this quiz was made for the sad few that took French =D Even if you're completely clueless you can guess a few, it's similar enough to English
