Not really any busts on this team (maybe Breaston), but Leinart gets the title because he should have been a starter by now, but can't read a defense.
Still had a good season, but if he had not have missed six games it would have been a great one.
It was understood that he'd have a smaller role this year, but he wasn't even usable as a backup.
Edwards & Owens too, but I expected them to suck. Lynch- physically absent for the first 3 games, mentally absent for the last 13.
Delhomme- always hurt & throws INTs, but was no real shocker. Steve Smith, on the other hand, didn't put up the stats of a top WR.
Sophomore slump! ...was a wasted 1st round fantasy pick.
Okay numbers, but considering he was taking over for Houshmandzadeh ...should have put up more.
Injured for 7 games, pathetic for 9. 588 total yards & no TDs.
Had 7 TDs, but only 38 receptions for 596 yards.
Huge bust! ...couldn't even reach 1/3 of his 2008 stats.
Yes, Megatron as well... but Smith was the bigger bust.
Green Bay Packers
Not a terrible season, but should have scored more than 4 TDs.
Walters had a crap year, but Slaton never even had a 100 yard game. Ugly.
Replacement for Marvin Harrison, got hurt in week 1... never came back.
The evidence showed he was slowing down, but only one 100 yd. game & no TDs. Happy retirement!
Kansas City Chiefs
Zero TDs... and was run out of KC.
Ginn is a candidate, but he's never lived up to the hype. Pennington on the other hand... landed on IR in week 3.
Only 618 yards & 4 TDs. Expected more from him.
New England Patriots
No real bust for NE, but not knowing which RB was going to show up on any given day was a headache.
New Orleans Saints
Hurt most of the season, and was never a factor.
New York Giants
Wussy! ...should have had a monster year, but didn't.
New York Jets
Sanchez was expected to struggle, but Keller was expected to improve. He didn't.
...but the two biggest are- Russell (3 TDs & 11 INTs in 9 starts) & McFadden (601 total yards, 1 TD)
Flop. 162 total yards... 1 TD.
Stud days are over. Hurt half the season, only 455 total yards & 2 TDs.
St. Louis Rams
He sucks. ...at least he had the decency to get injured.
San Diego Chargers
No major busts in SD... you got what you paid for... or close to it.
San Francisco 49ers
Lost the starting job week 7, never played again.
Almost everyone on this team is fair game, but T.J. should have produced more than 911 yards with 3 TDs.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
If you can even name a Buccaneer, you get credit... although Cadillac Williams did have a nice season.
Collins screwed the pooch, but White should have done better than 222 yds rushing & 2 TDs
Injured half the year, but even when healthy he was terrible.
You haven't played this game yet.
