	I believe Mormons are filed under Christianity. Great quiz, got all of those Vietnamese religions in there.

	I decided to add Scientology because there is some honest debate about the number of their followers. The Church of Scientology claims it has 8.5 million adherents, but they count anyone who has taken even one introductory class as a member. Actual numbers may range anywhere from 50,000 to 750,000. Also, LDS is counted as a Christian denomination in all the data I looked at today.

	Typing "Romania" for Unitarian Universalism works, but it lists it as USA anyway.

	The first Unitarian congregations were in Poland and Romania. The first Universalist Congregation was in the US. The Unitarian and Universalist "denominations" combined in the US in the 60's. Out of that tortured history, I decided that the technically correct answer is the US. I didn't want to deny anyone, though, who knew that Unitarianism had Romania as one of its origins.

	You might want to accept Iraq or Egypt for Judaism. If Judaism is considered to have started with Abraham's call, it would be Iraq. If it is considered to have started with covenant expressed at Sinai, it would be Egypt. I think the former is more accurate, but sometimes the latter is considered the start.

	Mormonism deserves to be on the "largest religious groups" list far, far more than Scientology, which has no more than a few thousand actual adherents.

	I've always learned that Mormons are Christians in the same way that Christians are Jews: that Mormonism finds its basis and history rooted in Christianity but that the core theology, dogma and literature are divergent enough that it can't be called a Christian denomination.

	Waterjoe: Egypt is all ready accepted as an alternate answer for the reason you stated. As far as Abraham goes, he did receive the call in Iraq. However, God makes his covenant with Abraham in Genesis 15:18, which occurs in Israel.

	Great quiz. The LDS Church is indeed counted under the major Christian denominations, Chocolatl. Also, there is no one overarching 'Christian Church' unless you are erroneously referring to the Catholic Church, which is one of thousands of Christian denominations.

	I've added LDS just because of the common cry for it to be included as a separate religion. But I agree with you 2thdoc. If you look at the beliefs of the major Christian denominations, they are as different as night and day. Yet, we still consider Catholics, Baptists and Presbyterians to all be "true" Christians.

	True, true. I have known Mormons my whole life, and frankly they've been more Christian in their living than most of the chest-thumping, self-proclaimed Christian folk out there. The whole argument is just ridiculous IMHO. Great quiz BTW...

	This is a great quiz! It'd be nice to have the stat for number of followers included as an extra, however, I see you might end up causing more confrontation since numbers vary wildly.

	Rastafari was not founded in Ethiopia. Ethiopia plays a prominent part in the religion, but Rastafari was founded in Jamaica in the 1930's. It grew out of Marcus Garvey's Pan-African movement. Garvey was a Jamaican who lived in New York and was eventually deported back to Jamaica.

	Buddhism might come out of Nepal. Depends on how you define the origin of the religion. But Buddha was born and raised in modern day Nepal, which I guess would mean that the early teachings of Buddha and thus Buddhism come out of Nepal.

	You should accept Pakistan for Hinduism, and possibly Bangladesh, Nepal, and Afghanistan for that matter. The Indus Valley Civilization was in what is now Pakistan, and is surely part of the roots of Indic religious forms which coalesced into Hinduism. If you're looking for the places where the Vedas and Upanishads formed, that includes Pakistan as well. Agree about Buddhism and Nepal.

	Buddha is believed to have been born in Lumbini (Nepal), but he attained enlightenment in Bodh Gaya (India). It was after attaining enlightenment that he began teaching his philosophy. So I agree with folio1701's choice to list India for Buddhism, although maybe accept Nepal as well. I also agree with accepting Pakistan, and possibly Afghanistan, as alternate answers for Hinduism, although I guess most people are entering India. It's difficult to choose a particular place as the source of Hinduism, but these three countries cover the general area.

	You shouldn't accept anything other than Israel for Judaism. There is no empirical evidence than Judaism ever existed outside of Israel. The earliest archaeological evidence of an Israeli state doesn't exist until after Solomon. While country and religion aren't necessarily connected, the Jewish religion emphasizes its otherness from surrounding countries and their religions. There is nothing to show that it could have originated outside Israel beyond what's contained within the Bible, a document not composed until the 8th century BC. Certainly, it could have been influenced by semitic peoples after the expulsion of the Hyksos, or by the theology of Akhenaten, but that's different.

	@Roman: Buddha may be Nepalese but he founded his spiritual philosophy after attaining enlightenment in Bodh Gaya, India. He then began teaching and preaching this, which became the Buddhist religion. So the founder was Nepalese, but the religion was founded in India.
